United Fashion Group sued Wildberries 31 million rubles

The distribution company United Fashion Group (UFG) (OOO Import-Export) has filed a lawsuit against the Wildberries online platform due to the latter's failure to fulfill its obligations. Payment of the amount in the amount of RUB 31 was awarded to Wildberry LLC by the Arbitration Court of the Moscow Region in payment for the delivered goods.

In addition, the court attributed Wildberris LLC a payment of 420 thousand rubles in respect of losses in connection with the storage of goods, which, despite preliminary agreements, the online platform refused to receive from the supplier on time.

According to representatives of the United Fashion Group (UFG), which has a portfolio of more than fifty global footwear brands, their problems with Wildberries began in September last year. When the online platform began to delay shipments, demanding a discount on the volume of pre-ordered and agreed goods, at a price signed by both parties, and eventually returned the unsold goods to the supplier in the amount of 41 million rubles. Then the online store refused to return 31 million rubles of receivables to its supplier ...

UFG is not the only one who claims to work with Wildberries. As RBC wrote at the beginning of 2017, Wildberries received 13 claims from counterparties, and on September 12 of 2017, the Arbitration Court will consider the bankruptcy case of Wildberry LLC on the basis of a statement by the Prime clothing and footwear distributor.

Recall that the Wildberries online store, according to the Data Insight rating, ranks first in terms of sales turnover at the end of 2016. The company's sales in 2016 increased by 43% and amounted to 45,6 billion rubles
