Uzbekistan begins supplying shoes to Russia and Kazakhstan

The fifth international exhibition of shoes SHOESSTAR, which ended in Almaty, resulted in agreements on the supply of Uzbek products to the markets of Russia and Kazakhstan with a total value of over $ 12 million. Within the framework of the exhibition, a stand of the Association of Leather and Footwear Enterprises of Uzbekistan was presented, which included 252 enterprises specializing in leather processing, procurement of raw materials, production of leather goods and footwear. Representatives of business circles negotiated the opening of an Uzbek-Kazakh trading house and signed a memorandum between the directorate of the international leather goods and footwear exhibition SHOESSTAR and the Uzbekcharmpoyabzali Association. The exhibition was attended by manufacturers of leather goods and footwear products from 14 countries, including China, Germany, Italy, Turkey and a number of Southeast Asian states.
