Deputies from the LDPR faction introduced a bill to the State Duma prohibiting the broadcasting of advertisements in shopping centers.
The deputies propose to establish the rules and procedure for the distribution of advertising in shopping centers, to limit the maximum duration of continuous advertising and the maximum duration of advertising within an hour, as well as in laws on advertising in television programs and television programs, radio programs and radio programs. This will ultimately have a positive effect on the physical and psychological health and general well-being of citizens, increase the attractiveness of trade enterprises, cultural and entertainment centers for the population, is noted in the explanatory note to the bill.
"Targeting" advertising, that is, the distribution of advertising of goods and services only in the place of their sale, will avoid the imposition of unnecessary advertising information to its listeners ", - added in the note.
In addition, it is proposed to ban advertising in centers and shops during mourning days. The current law on advertising prohibits the distribution of audio and video ads on declared days of mourning.
