According to the results of the 2012 year, the total volume of new rental space in the shopping complexes of Krasnodar will increase by 167 thousand square meters. m., noted in a study by GVA Sawyer. 

Currently, the provision of high-quality retail space in the city is 855 sq.m GLA per 1000 inhabitants, which is one of the highest rates in Russia. In 2011, only 49 thousand square meters were commissioned. leasable area (4th stage of the Red Square Megacenter). 

In total, there are about 4 stores in the 200th stage, and the total number of stores in this mall has grown to 500. The composition of tenants, on the whole, differs little from other large shopping centers in Krasnodar. Tenants include Sportmaster, Reebok, Adidas, Roberto Botticelli and others.

Among the trends of 2011, experts note the resumption of construction of "frozen" objects (shopping and entertainment center "Heart of the city", shopping center "Yug"). The commissioning of new areas in 2012 will take place due to the commissioning of the OZ shopping and entertainment center in February 2012. After the commissioning of this facility, the market will be close to saturation.

The average vacancy rate in high-quality shopping centers is 10,5% (in 2010 this indicator was at the level of 11%). The most successful shopping malls are 90–98% full. These include the Galereya-Krasnodar shopping and entertainment complex, Mega Adygea Kuban, City Center, Mediaplaza, SBS Megamall shopping and entertainment complex, Kristall MFC. Krasnaya Ploschad is 85% full, taking into account the fact that in the new 4th stage, not all stores had time to open (opening - in the first half of 2012). Less successful shopping malls include Galaktika - 65% full, Meridian - 85% full. The site malls.ru reports.
