Shoe production is growing in Krasnodar

In January-October 2010, the industrial production index for enterprises producing leather, leather goods and footwear amounted to 139,7%, according to the Department of Industry of the Krasnodar Territory. The volume of shipped goods of its own production has doubled compared to January - October 2. In general, the production of chrome leather goods increased by 2009% in the region, and footwear by 33,4%. The main footwear manufacturer in the region is Bris-Bosphorus (Novorossiysk), a Russian-Turkish enterprise that manufactures products under the ESPA trademark. Bris-Bosfor specializes in the production of affordable footwear, whose share in the Russian footwear market is 43,3%. In January - October this year, the enterprise increased the volume of products shipped to consumers 17 times.
