In the Vsevolozhsky district of the Leningrad region in 2012. will begin construction of a light industry technopark worth 5 billion rubles. This was announced by Svetlana Molchanova, Director of the Union of Manufacturers of Light Industry Products, General Director of the Made in St. Petersburg Foundation, writes rbc.ru.

The industrial zone will be located on the territory of 70 thousand square meters. m. According to S. Molchanova, the plot is supposed to be rented with subsequent redemption. To implement the project, manufacturers of shoes and clothes, headed by the St. Petersburg shoe company Skorokhod, will create Technopark LLC.

S. Molchanova noted that the technopark will include sewing, shoe, furniture companies, design and training centers. In February-April 2011. manufacturers expect to receive a loan from US investors in the amount of 5 billion rubles. at 4,5% per annum.

Approval and approval of all documents for the project will last until August 2011. The construction itself will be carried out for 1,5 years. Payback period - 7 years.
