The first showroom center will open in Moscow

Afi Development presented the Expolon project during the Collection Premiere Moscow exhibition - a center of fashionable showrooms with an area of 110 thousand square meters. It is located in Moscow near the Vykhino metro station and will open in autumn.

According to the representatives of the project, the Russian market has already come out of the spontaneous phase and needs a modern distribution center for fashion segment companies. Following the example of such complexes in Germany, the USA, Holland and Belgium, Russian Expolon should become a permanent platform for fashion companies to present collections and communicate with customers, as well as combine a warehouse, office and service center. The complex will consist of 9 floors: 1-3 floors will be occupied by showrooms of clothing companies, 5-6 floors - showrooms by manufacturers of shoes, bags and accessories, on the 7 floor there will be showrooms of children's clothes, on 8 fur and outerwear, and the first, fourth and ninth floor will be given for exhibition areas, areas for fashion shows, meeting rooms and offices. In addition, the complex has a hotel block and such service enterprises as restaurants, dry cleaners, a notary's office, a printing center, a beauty salon, a fitness center, as well as parking at 1900 parking lots, car rental services and other useful services. The cost of the rental rate is from 500 dollars per year, and the basic package of additional services costing from 400 dollars includes the use of infrastructure, information and marketing support.

Expolon developers position the project not only as a gallery of showrooms, but also as a multifunctional fashion center that will provide manufacturers and buyers with a full range of services through outsourcing companies specializing in logistics, finance, franchising, marketing, merchandising and other areas of the fashion business. The project will be supported by a single online catalog of all Expolon tenant companies and an extensive advertising campaign across all industry channels. According to Peter Kazorin, strategic director of the Expolon project, the center of the showrooms will be able to provide space for the 501 brand, and at the moment there is a waiting list. However, developers reserve the right to carefully select tenants: only fashion brands of the medium and medium-high segment will be able to present their collections in Expolon, which is necessary to create an interesting space for visitors.
