Presentation of Brazilian Footwear held in Moscow

From 9 to 11 on June 2014, a presentation of the Brazilian Footwear showroom was held in the City Lounge of the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Moscow. The event was attended by 11 Brazilian shoe manufacturers and more than 30 Russian retailers.

The showroom was organized as part of the Brazilian Footwear export promotion program. Today, the volume of exports of Brazilian shoes to Russia is 3,5% of the total export of Brazilian shoes. The expansion potential in the Russian market is still very high. In total, imports of shoes to Russia amount to 5 billion US dollars, of which 26,7 million dollars account for imports from Brazil.

“We hope that we will be able to expand the presence of Brazilian footwear in the Russian market, but we are more interested not in increasing export volumes as such, but in the correct and long-term positioning of Brazilian footwear brands in Russia,” said Let.cia Sperb Masseli ), Coordinator of Trade Relations Development Department, Abical.ados.
