From November 12 to December 12 of 2015, the capital will host the first exhibition and sale of Vietnam Expo in Russia. The large-scale event is supported by the Government and the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam, the People’s Committees of Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh, the Embassy of Vietnam in Russia, the Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV), IC INCENTRA LLC, and the Association of Vietnamese Entrepreneurs in Russia. The venue will be the multifunctional complex "Hanoi-Moscow" on the Yaroslavl highway, 146. The exhibition will occupy two of the three floors of the shopping center. The total area of stands is 15 000 sq. meters. Participation in all Vietnam Expo events is free for visitors.
The exhibition program includes business, cultural and educational events. The trade and demonstration pavilions will display an impressive assortment of light industry goods, crafts of folk art, food and processing industry products, which Vietnamese manufacturing companies will bring specifically for exposition and sale in Moscow. A wide variety of product groups is expected: Vietnamese clothing and footwear, textiles and household goods, gifts and souvenirs, leather goods, jewelry and accessories, cosmetics and perfumery, health products, arts and crafts, jewelry, watches, bijouterie, and agricultural products. “The event will become a confident practical step towards the implementation of the Free Trade Zone Agreement between the Eurasian Economic Union and Vietnam. Among the participants are expected to be Vietnamese manufacturers of goods for export and, in particular, for the consumer market of Russia, as well as Russian manufacturers interested in partnerships with Vietnamese companies, says Le Truong Son, General Director of IK Intcentra (MFC Hanoi-Moscow). “In addition, representatives of the tourism, banking, catering and traditional medicine sectors will be invited. We expect 150 participants and about 45000 guests. " As part of the business program, specialized industry and networking events, workshops, as well as several large business meetings with delegations of entrepreneurs from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City will be held. Excursions are planned for Vietnamese businessmen in order to get acquainted with the possibilities of the Russian retail market. On November 13, a seminar will be held on the topic "Establishment of settlements for Russian-Vietnamese trade in national currencies." Also, in the first week of the exhibition, an international practical business conference "Entry of Vietnamese Companies to the Russian Market" will be held.
