Wildberries noted a twofold increase in sales of Russian goods on their platform in foreign markets during the Black Friday sale this year compared to the same period of sales in 2020. Sales totaled RUB 1,5 billion. Black Friday was launched on the online platform on November 22nd.
The online retailer notes the increased activity of foreign buyers from Germany, Latvia, Estonia, USA, Israel and Moldova. Most of all, foreigners ordered cosmetics and perfumes, clothes, toys, books, household goods, underwear, shoes, accessories, dishes and various kitchen utensils with delivery from Russia. About 50% of all orders were made by Russian-made goods.
