In Yekaterinburg, on the territory of the former Uralobuv factory, the multifunctional Factory complex may appear - an analogue of the Moscow design factory and the Flacon creative cluster.
“We want to create an interesting space with creative sites, with craft workshops and an entertainment component up to the placement of lofts,” said Alexey Konoplev, deputy director for development of Pervostroitel.
According to him, the Factory project is planned to be presented at the Design StartUP Week international forum, which will be held in Yekaterinburg from 20 to 22 on April. Now a competition is being prepared among architects for the development of the concept of the object. “According to preliminary estimates, investment in the project will exceed 100 million rubles. We plan to start construction before the end of the year, and commission the object in a year, ”Konoplev added.
