A summit on sustainable development in the footwear industry was held in China

From October 30 to October 31, 2023, the 11th International Summit on Sustainable Development of the Global Footwear Industry was held in Dongguan, China.

The summit was attended by representatives of Nike, Adidas, Aokang, Anta, Converse, Kiabi, Pick, Skechers, Sonaron, Tom Shoes, XTEP, New Balance, Brooks Running, Deichmann, Novi, Bata, Emma CNC, Cody Industrial, Hangzhou Kaiyue and other global brands.

Among the topics touched upon at the summit were the development of the global footwear industry after the pandemic; problems with logistics and shoe production in Southeast Asia; the impact of digital technology on sales and marketing; application of digital technologies and artificial intelligence in production; application of sustainable production methods.
