Popular Asian streetwear brand Clot releases its second collaboration with Adidas, this time the famous silhouette of the German brand Adidas Gazelle has acquired the original texture of espadrilles. And the signature three stripes turned out to be embroidered with glass beads of different shades of blue. Blue accents, contrasting with the sneaker's main light beige color, a natural raffia hue, are also present in the contours on the laces.
The Clot Gazelle upper is a textile made using traditional espadrille stitching machines with suede overlays and hand-embroidered beading.
Clot and Adidas quickly got to work after the Asian brand cut ties with Nike after 20 years of collaboration. The first collaboration came out in June of this year, when the Adidas Superstar sneaker model was updated. The silhouette takes on new elements of a smarter shoe with leather welts, lace tassels and a ridged outsole, and it also features higher-quality leather on the upper.
The adidas Clot Gazelle will release on August 23rd via the Confirmed app and select third-party retailers. The price of the sneakers is $160. Along with the sneakers, an assortment of crochet shorts, polos and sports tops will be on sale.
