Cushman & Wakefield has been appointed the exclusive broker for the lease of retail space in the new Galeon shopping center, which will open at the end of 2017 on one of the central thoroughfares of the capital - Leninsky Prospekt, within walking distance of the Troparevo metro station. The owner and developer of the project is MD Group. Experts believe that the “shopping malls near home” format is the most promising today.
The total area of the Galeon shopping center will be more than 28 000 sq.m, and trade - 14 000 sq.m. For visitors, parking is provided for 320 parking spaces. Among the anchor tenants already announced grocery hypermarket "Lenta" on 6 000 square. m and a children's goods store on 1 300 sq. m on the second floor of the shopping center, the shopping gallery will host more than 50 stores and outlets, including international and Russian fashion operators.
The project is located in one of the most densely populated and dynamically developing areas of the capital. Here, construction of residential neighborhoods is ongoing, social infrastructure is developing. Already now in the immediate environment there are about 300 thousand people. The project concept is clearly focused on the needs of the target audience - residents of nearby areas. Galeon shopping center will become not only one of the main shopping areas of the district, but also a favorite vacation spot for residents: they will be able to use the services of various household services (banks, dry cleaning, shoe / clothing repair, etc.), have a bite or dine at restaurants and a cafe.
