The grand opening of the shopping and entertainment center will be held on October 27. The Kashirskaya Plaza shopping center was erected on the site of the Kashirsky Capitol shopping center, built in 1999. The coverage area of the Kashirskaya Plaza shopping center is more than 2 million people.
Five metro stations are located within a radius of 2 km from the new shopping center: Domodedovo, Orekhovo, Zyablikovo, Krasnogvardeiskaya and Shipilovskaya.
More than 200 tenants are represented in the new shopping and entertainment center, among anchor tenants: Auchan grocery hypermarket, a two-story fitness center with a World Class pool, an entertainment center and a Kinomaks multi-screen cinema, which includes the largest IMAX cinema in Europe.
The original architectural concept of the shopping center embodied the idea of the unity of four natural elements: water, air, fire and earth. The concept is reflected in the functional zoning of the complex, as well as in materials and decor elements, architectural forms, design solutions and the color scheme of shopping galleries.
The highlight of the project is the exploited roof with a leisure and sports component: on the roof there are tennis and basketball courts, restaurant verandas. In the near future, the appearance of a large promenade, an open-air cinema, and in winter an ice rink is expected. Three-level parking accommodates 1500 vehicles. Particular attention in the new project is paid to creating a barrier-free environment for people with limited mobility.
The project’s investor was the Russian development company ENKA TC, which is part of the ENKA group of companies.
