German sports giant Puma opens two new retail outlets in Moscow in June. The new stores are fundamentally different from the traditional Puma retailers, as they emphasize the presentation of brand collaborations with artists, designers and musicians.
Until now, the PUMA Select space in the Moscow retail of the brand was present in only one store - in the Tsvetnoy department store. Another store under the brand PUMA Select a year and a half ago appeared in St. Petersburg in the Mall. The opening of one of the new metropolitan stores has already taken place - on June 4 - at the Metropolis shopping center, the second should be launched on June 11 at the Aviapark shopping center.
Only the premium line is presented in the PUMA Select retail: limited releases and collaborations, collections created with the participation of Puma global ambassadors.
According to Vladimir Gorobets, Director General of Puma Russia and Ukraine, the company made decisions on opening retail before the pandemic was announced, the crisis did not affect the strategic plans for the brand development in Russia. “Despite the difficult economic situation throughout the world and in Russia in particular, we have preserved all existing stores and continue to grow, expanding in the most promising shopping centers in the country,” he said.
