Yesterday, the semifinals of the 32nd International Shoe and Accessories Design Competition, "Shoes Style," took place in Moscow at the A.N. Kosygin Russian State University. The competition showcased the work of university students studying design, engineering, and footwear and accessory production technology.
The semi-finals featured work from over 50 participants. The presentation of footwear and accessories collections was available in two formats: a special fashion show on the Shoes Style catwalk and videos broadcast on a large screen in the assembly hall of the University (A.N. Kosygin Russian State University), which is organizing the competition.
The competition jury, which included representatives of footwear industry companies, designers, and Marina Shumilina, editor-in-chief of the information portal Shoes Report, evaluated the participants' collections on a ten-point scale.
Today, May 13, the competition final and awards ceremony for the winners will take place.
