The presentation of the Italian MICAM was held in Moscow

A gala dinner and presentation of the main Italian shoe exhibition MICAM took place on June 23 in Moscow, at the Imperial Yacht Club. The event was organized by the ICE Agency-Italian Embassy, ​​Trade Exchange Development Department, and the National Association of Italian Footwear Manufacturers ASSOCALZATURIFICI.

The guests of the evening were representatives of the Russian shoe market - buyers, importers, owners of retail shoe stores, experts from the fashion world, and journalists.

MICAM is the world's leading trade fair for footwear and is held twice a year in Milan at the modern and functional Rho Fiera exhibition center. Every year MICAM gathers more than 3000 participants and about 70 visitors from more than 000 countries. The exhibition, which will be held this year from 130 to 3 September, will traditionally feature the leading Italian and international footwear brands with their spring-summer 6 collections.

As the organizers of the MICAM presentation in Moscow noted, not only fashion, but also cinema plays a huge role in the culture of Italians. At the MICAM evening, these two components were presented in a unique exhibition of Italian shoes, which featured in Oscar-winning movie hits: Pirates of the Caribbean, Gladiator, The Man in the Iron Mask, Grand Hotel Budapest, Life is Beautiful, Great beauty "and flaunted on the feet of Hollywood movie stars - Monica Bellucci, Nicole Kidman, Madonna, Leonardo DiCaprio, Russell Crowe, Johnny Depp and others. In addition to the exhibition, the guests were shown a short film "Niente per caso" ("Nothing is accidental"), specially filmed for the presentation of the autumn MICAM.
