Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin proposed lifting the ban on the work of non-food retail and part of the service sector in Moscow from June 1. According to the mayor, about 300 thousand people are employed in this area in the capital.
The proposal to lift the ban on non-food retail and part of household services enterprises “for which you do not need long-term contact: laundries, dry cleaners, repair shops, etc.” was voiced by Sobyanin during a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin and discussing the situation with the spread of coronavirus in Moscow. As the capital’s mayor noted, the number of detected coronavirus diseases in the capital over the past 23 hours has been minimal since April 2140 - XNUMX people. This provides the basis for the gradual weakening of quarantine measures.
In a number of Russian regions, clothing and shoe stores have already resumed work. In particular, Unichel announced the resumption of their stores in Chelyabinsk from May 25, according to the usual schedule.
“We have been waiting a long time for shoe retail to be given the opportunity to resume trade,” says Alexey Denisenko, director of development for the Unichel shoe factory. - To date, trade has been resumed in a number of cities: Chelyabinsk, Ufa, Samara, Irkutsk, Chita, Orenburg, Ryazan, Lipetsk, Tambov, Voronezh and others. Yekaterinburg, Nizhny Novgorod, Krasnoyarsk, Vladivostok continue to operate in the mode of points of issue. In our opinion, the decision to open shoe stores is a bit late, because our main sales season is April and May. As a result, we lost up to 90% of our profits in April and up to 60% in May. And in June, the buyer, as a rule, will already be waiting for discounts. Therefore, we really want to get back on track, continue to develop and continue to provide employees with jobs and salaries. ”
