Three boutiques of the French luxury brand of shoes and accessories Christian Louboutin were closed in Moscow this summer. The Christian Louboutin branded boutiques located on Bolshaya Dmitrovka and Malaya Bronnaya streets ceased to exist, and the brand’s boutique in the Barvikha Luxury Village shopping center near Moscow also closed.
The flagship brand boutique on Bolshaya Dmitrovka was opened in 2016 and lasted until July 2019. The designer and brand owner Christian Louboutin came to the opening of the boutique.
At present, two Christian Louboutin branded outlets continue to operate in Russia - the brand’s corner located in the Central Department Store of the Central Department Store and a boutique in St. Petersburg.
In Russia, the retail brand Christian Louboutin is managed by the AIZEL Group, founded in 2011 by Aysel Trudel.
