After twenty years of operation, the Paris concept store Colette, where clothes, shoes and accessories of luxury brands were sold, as well as books, toys and other goods, stopped working.
On Wednesday, the decision to close the boutique of its employees was announced by creative director and purchasing manager Sarah Andelman, who is the daughter of the founder of the boutique - Colette Russo. Negotiations are underway with the fashion house Saint Laurent about the possible sale of the boutique.
Colette is known for its original storefronts and interesting events, such as the Balenciaga days, which are held in the boutique from June 19 to August 5.
The annual turnover of the concept store, located in Paris on the street of San Honore, in 2016 amounted to 28 million euros. About 20% of the turnover came from online trading through Colette.fr’s own online store. In March of this year, the boutique celebrated its twentieth anniversary.
