Among the projects announced for commissioning before the end of this year, the shopping center as part of TPU Rasskazovka (19 thousand sq. M), Arena Plaza (17 thousand sq. M), Galeon (14 thousand sq. M ), "Angara" (7 thousand sq. M.). Thus, the annual volume of the new proposal will be 163 thousand square meters. m, which is only 5% higher than last year, which became a record low for the past five years.

“In the last two years, the launch of new shopping centers has practically no effect on the dynamics of vacancy, as the facilities open with a very high occupancy rate. So, for example, in the Kashirskaya Plaza shopping center at the time of opening, the share of free space was less than 5%, ”comments Ekaterina Zemskaya, head of the retail real estate department at JLL. - As a result, according to the results of the 2 quarter, the share of free space in the market of retail space in Moscow reached its minimum value in four years and amounted to 5,2%. We expect to maintain a low level at around 5% until the end of the year. ”

Over the past six months, the vacancy rate has decreased most significantly in shopping centers launched in 2016-2017, such as Riga Mall, Vegas Kuntsevo and Butovo Mall.
