Shoe production growth recorded in Primorsky Krai

According to Primorskstat, for nine months - from January to September of 2016, shoe production in Primorsky Krai increased by 27% compared to the same period in 2015.

It is noteworthy that the growth in footwear production took place against the background of a general decline in the industrial sector of the region. In January-September 2016, there was a general decline in industry (96.2% from the level of 2015). The decline was observed in the manufacturing industries by 0.9%, in the extractive industries by 6,8%, in the electric power industry by 9,8%.
