A laboratory for testing labeled goods appeared in Russia
The Association of Retail Companies, the TrekMark company and the operator of the national labeling system, Honest Sign, have opened a laboratory for testing labeling codes on goods.
The center appeared on behalf of the Ministry of Industry and Trade on the basis of the TrekMark experimental and demonstration center for hardware and software solutions in order to enable all participants in the turnover of goods to test the quality of the application of codes, their readability, data accuracy and make sure that the products can be sold without problems retail outlets.
The laboratory has assembled several dozen devices for reading marking codes, which are used by large Russian retailers and non-network retail, and the only domestic verifier TRECMARK B200 - a device that determines the class (grade) of the DataMatrix code printing quality.
“We are interested in making the introduction of the labeling system for business as comfortable as possible. Now, thanks to the creation of a laboratory, manufacturers, distributors, printing houses and the entire business community can be completely free of charge about the quality of coding and receive retail recommendations, minimize risks and work out business processes in order to provide consumers with their products in a timely manner, "- comments the COO of the operator national labeling system "Honest sign" Andrey Kirillov.
