Parallel imports of Adidas have been banned in Russia.
Rosaccreditation has revoked at least 10 certificates of conformity for original sneakers and clothing from the German brand Adidas. Therefore, their sale in Russian multi-brand stores is now prohibited. Nike, Reebok, Puma, and others are next in line, according to reports. Telegram channel Mash.
Adidas publicly left Russia in March 2022, but (like everyone else) remained unofficially—through Adidas Kazakhstan. This is where the certificates that importers subsequently submitted at customs were issued. The tightening of regulations occurred due to the increase in the number of counterfeit certificates of conformity for products imported from EAEU countries.
During the verification of certificates for the supply of Adidas products from the Lamoda marketplace, Moscow Customs did not receive the required documents and sent a request to Rosaccreditation demanding that the product authentication documents be suspended.
This may result in the cancellation of all certificates of conformity issued by this particular accreditation body.
