In Russia, launch a social network for the resale of branded things

Investments in the creation of a social network for the sale of Reposh branded items amount to $ 1,7 million. The Reposh.com platform is the second project of the founders of the online sales store for the entire Mamsy family, Kommersant writes.

The new social network will allow its users to create online boutiques. In this case, all sales and purchases will be carried out on the principle of "safe transaction", goods will be sent to buyers by courier services or delivered to points of issue.

The idea of launching the Reposh project came from the founders of the Mamsy online store, Andrey and Maria Skurov, in 2017; in November of this year, $ 900 thousand in seed investments were attracted to the project. Total investments in Reposh at the moment, according to Mamsy representatives, amounted to $ 1,7 million.

Skurov's first project, Mamsy, an online store for mothers and children, was founded in 2011. One of the main ideas of this project is to organize flash sales, limited in time and quantity of goods. Mamsy's investors were Leonid Boguslavsky's ru-Net fund (now RTP Global) and Baring Vostok Capital Partners. According to Kartoteka.ru, the revenue of Mamsi LLC in 2017 amounted to 784,9 million rubles, the loss - 214,3 million rubles. According to SimilarWeb, Mamsy.ru had about 2 million visits in March.
