Balenciaga's latest Circuit Sneaker features an unconventional design that plays with proportions and an ultra-high price tag. In boutiques and on the brand’s website, a pair of sneakers is offered for 865 euros.
The Circuit Sneaker's dynamic outsole inflates under the ball and heel to promote movement and agility, while the upper features what it calls "aerodynamic" panels. Three different Balenciaga logos adorn the shoes.
To launch the new style, Balenciaga teamed up with photographer Chris Lens to create a series of portraits of models wearing silver-hued shoes. The sneakers are also available in black.
