Production of Nike sneakers launched in Uzbekistan

The Chinese company Sino International has opened a factory for the production of sneakers of the American sports brand Nike in Andijan. Nike granted permission to launch production in Uzbekistan back in 2019, but due to the pandemic and related problems with equipment logistics, the new factory only started operating this year.

Sino International, for five years, built a system of quality standards required by Nike. In particular, new production lines were created, working conditions for employees and high quality control were organized. To date, the company has launched production lines for molding the soles and uppers of sneakers. The skills of Uzbek specialists are improved by technologists, designers and tailors from the Chinese branch of Nike. The company produces 6 pairs of sneakers a day. By the end of the year, the capacity of the enterprise is planned to double.

At the moment, Nike sneakers from Andijan are already supplied to the markets of Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan and Tajikistan.
