A master's program in the fashion industry will open at the Higher School of Economics

On April 27, at ModaHSE (NRU Higher School of Economics), the presentation of the first and only Russian master's program in Management and Marketing in the Fashion Industry will be held. Now, a master's degree in fashion business management can be obtained without traveling abroad.

“The launch of the master's program is an important event in the industry,” says Anna Lebsak-Kleimans, scientific director of ModaHSE, CEO of Fashion Consulting Group. - For the first time, this is not just a fundamental education in the field of finance, management and marketing, but also focused on understanding the specifics of production, retail and promoting a fashionable product. From the point of view of management, the business associated with the fashion industry is aerobatics, and deep theoretical and applied knowledge is simply necessary here. Today, there is a huge demand in the labor market for competent managers who have relevant specialized knowledge of new strategies for managing business processes in fashion industry companies, modern technologies and information systems, and are able to quickly make both strategic and operational decisions. ”

The basis of the program is the academic standards of the HSE faculty of business and management, and the fashion orientation and applied content of specialized disciplines are provided by copyright courses developed and tested at the Higher School of Management and Communications at the Higher School of Economics (ModaHSE) by experts from the leading Russian consulting agency fashion industry Fashion Consulting Group and the best specialists of Russian and foreign fashion companies.

The content of the special disciplines of the program includes all the main areas of knowledge and skills necessary for industry managers in the fashion industry: marketing and branding in the fashion industry; strategic management; financial management; business performance management; operational activities of the company (clothing, shoes, accessories); personnel management in fashion industry companies; e-commerce. Start of the master's program “Management and Marketing in the Fashion Industry” in October 2017.
