Vagabond offers to hand over old shoes

The Swedish brand is launching a program in Russia for the processing and further use of old shoes. The Shoe Bring Back shoe return program has already been implemented in all Vagabond stores in Sweden, Finland, Germany, the UK, Poland, the Czech Republic, Hungary and Denmark. Since February 22, it is launched in Russia.

Joint innovation project Vagabond and I: Collect, which is responsible for Vagabond's recycling technology, allows shoes to be recycled to support sustainable consumption.

The mission of the project is to make sure that the thing that can still be worn gets a new life as second-hand goods, and that unfit shoes will be recycled to create new products. According to the terms of the project, for each bag of shoes left in the Vagabond store, the buyer will receive a discount voucher.

“There are many steps that all of us need to take to be more conscious about our environment. In the long run, our goal is for people to take a more responsible approach to consumption. Buy only what you really need and do everything possible to maintain the long life cycle of your purchases, ”says Anna Fale Bierke, head of brand communications at Vagabond.

Vagabond International founded in 1993 year in the city of Varberg, Sweden. Under the brand Vagabond, shoes and accessories of the price segment medium, medium + are produced. The brand’s branded retail network in Russia consists of six stores, four of which are open in Moscow and two in St. Petersburg.
