Vans ready to offer the fastest custom tailored sneaker service

This week, Nike introduced its new Makers Experience program, with which users can create a pair of personalized shoes in less than an hour. However, the American manufacturer Vans sneaker is ready to offer an even faster way to make a unique pair, writes Footwearnews.

A video from Vans Strictly Waffles fan site has appeared on Youtube.com, which talks about the imminent appearance of the new Waffle Work platform, which will allow you to create shoes with an individual design - from concept to the final product - in just 15 minutes.

“Imagine that you can come to Vans with your own freehand drawing, with the photo you took or with your daughter’s pencil drawing, which shows your portrait. You go to the new Waffle Work kiosk and upload your image to the interface. Drink a large cup of latte, return to Vans and pick up ready-made sneakers with your own individual design, ”says a representative of the developer of the new platform.

The Waffle Work platform is mobile, so Vans-like kiosks can be opened anywhere. But fans of the shoe brand will have to wait a bit until the new technology goes through all stages of refinement and running-in. It is possible that the service from Vans on the new platform will work already in 2018.
