For the first time, American VF Corporation brands Vans and Timberland teamed up to release a capsule collection based on the hybrid silhouette of two popular models from both brands: Vans' Half Cab, released in 1992, and the Timberland Euro Hiker boots, created in 1988.
Launched to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Half Cab Vans, the capsule collection features "distinctive Half Cab uppers with a 5/8 cutout over Euro Hiker boots" with two-tone round laces and metal lugs for the hiker boot. Crafted from canvas and premium Timberland leather, the ReBotl lining is made from at least 50% recycled plastic. The boot, which debuted in wheat and chocolate olive colors, features a soft leather collar, lug rubber outsole, and is co-branded with Vans and Timberland.
Additionally, in the Anniversary Collection, Vans introduced a new version of the Timberland Premium 6-inch waterproof boots, originally released in 1973, inspired by streetwear, workwear and skateboarding aesthetics. The model was named Vans Skateboarding x Timberland 6-Inch Boot.
