Versace x Onitsuka Tiger to release collab in spring 2026
Another collaboration between luxury and mass market is on the horizon. Italian luxury brand Versace and Japanese sneaker brand Onitsuka Tiger have announced a partnership.
The collaboration centers on the Tai-Chi d'Onitsuka Tiger sneaker, which was developed at the brand's factory in Tottori, Japan, in the San'in region. The sneakers were produced using "carefully selected" Italian materials.
Key design elements include the double stitching of Onitsuka's signature Tiger Tiger stripes and the iconic Medusa de Versace symbol. The sneakers' fabric has been specially treated to achieve a vintage effect.
The collection includes eight sneaker models that will go on sale next spring at select Versace flagship stores and on the fashion house's website.
