Christian Louboutin introduced a new collection of spring-summer 2013 shoes. Comparing the new line with past models, critics immediately noted dynamic and vibrant colors, sharply contrasting with the nobility and restraint of Louboutin's past creations.

The designer chose the popularly beloved spikes as the main sources of inspiration. Having removed excessive aggressiveness, rounded corners and made them softer, Louboutin raises spikes in a must-have status.
