Vetements x Reebok Releases New Sneakers for $ 760

Painted sneakers The Vetements x Reebok have an unexpectedly high price, experts say the American magazine Footwear News. In just a few years, the young brand created by the Georgian designer Demna Gvasalia managed to gain recognition of the world fashion scene and keeps rather high prices for her things.

The new Vetements x Reebok sneakers are based on the classic Reebok silhouette - InstaPump Fury. On the white surface of the shoes are randomly placed, as if I'm Mark Bored and Full on Life, made with a marker, as well as stars, hearts and peace signs.

"The price of $ 760 is not prohibitive for designer sneakers, but when the whole design consists only in random inscriptions made by a marker, such a price tag may turn out to be too high," say Footwear News. Noting that Vetements always puts a high price on its products, the price of brand hoodies reaches $ 1000.

Thirty-five-year-old Demna Gvasalia, creative director of Balenciaga, continues to develop her own brand Vetements, founded in 2014. The head of Vetements comes from Abkhazia, from Sukhumi, and the brand itself can be called post-Soviet, as the designer very successfully processes ideas that came from Soviet culture and history, making truly iconic things. Today Vetements dictates fashion trends, releases provocative collections, enters into collaborations with major brands, and makes the entire fashion community talk about themselves.
