Vladimir Putin announced measures to support small and medium-sized businesses in connection with the coronovirus epidemic

Russian President Vladimir Putin made an official appeal to Russian citizens about the situation with the spread of coronavirus in the country. A number of announced measures to support the economy related to small and medium-sized businesses.

Among them:

deferral of all taxes except VAT for 6 months;

micro enterprises will also be exempt from insurance premiums for 6 months;

6-month credit vacation

a bankruptcy moratorium on companies operating in industries affected by the coronavirus epidemic;

insurance contributions at small and medium-sized enterprises are reduced from 30 to 15% if the employee’s salary exceeds the minimum wage (the measure is introduced for an unlimited period);

The dividend tax rate will increase by 15% if the money is withdrawn abroad.
