To create this collection, the designer sought inspiration in oriental outfits. His attention was attracted by the architectural cut of the kimono, the simple geometry of folding fans, and delicate patterns on shoes from the Chinese province of Canton.
Gayetano suggested using volumetric stitching, neat perforation made by hand, delicate decor, a mix of textures, a complex spiral-shaped cut of details and an elegant carved finish that repeats the smooth bending of the foot as a decor for ankle boots.
