Chanel's second haute couture collection by Mathieu Blasy is inspired by fairy tales.

In July, the Chanel Fall 2026 haute couture collection, the second couture collection from the French luxury brand, was presented in Paris under the direction of creative director Mathieu Blasi.

While a year ago Blasi was inspired by floral themes and the shoe collection featured many shoe styles with flower-shaped details, this year's shoe designs feature fantasy heels inspired by fairy tales. The varied heels are presented as intricate sculptural depictions of detailed garden scenes. Here, we see a butterfly, a hummingbird, a small figurine of a man in boots and a yellow coat, and a golden egg.

Some styles feature straw heels, the most striking example being a pair completely covered in a spiky beige fabric and further embellished with floral patterns.

A diverse selection of shoes with various color blocking was also presented, including animal print, metallics, fur, mesh and other details.
