In 2019, 50 years have passed since the release of the debut album Led Zeppelin. In honor of this significant date, the American running brand Vans has released a collection of shoes and clothes with the symbols of the famous London rock band.
The collection features iconic Vans sneakers - Vans Sk8-Hi and Era. The top of the Era low-top model is embellished with a print with individual symbols of the band. The name of the group in large print appears in the form of embossing on the side of the thick sole.
The top of the Sk8-Hi is adorned with a black and white photograph from the cover of Led Zeppelin's first album showing the Hindenburg airship (built in 1936 in Nazi Germany and crashed in 1937) on fire. The red Led Zeppelin text logo and red tongue patch add a bit of colorful contrast to the shoe design. The band branding can also be found on the inside of the tongue. The symbols that are present on the upper of the Era sneaker appear here as an embossing on the side of the sole.
Both pairs of shoes are individually boxed, and the collection is complemented by a baseball cap and long sleeve T-shirt.
The Vans x Led Zeppelin collection will go on sale February 22 and will be available on Vans.com and the Led Zeppelin online store.
