adidas Originals and contemporary menswear brand OAMC have unveiled the second part of their Spring / Summer '20 collection. OAMC Creative Director Luc Meyer collaborated with adidas Originals to create two radical new silhouettes.
The new Type O-4 sneaker brings a futuristic touch to the classic adidas Terrex sneaker.
The upper is made of a combination of an unusual sheer fabric and ventilation inserts, and a special outsole provides optimal traction.
The silhouette is complemented by the OAMC and adidas Originals branded logos and is presented in rich navy blue, laconic white and caramel beige shades.
The adidas Originals / OAMC collaboration is based on the 1998 adidas EQT Tyranny sneaker. In the Type O-5's silhouette, futuristic and slightly spacey shapes, symbolizing the OAMC signature, take center stage. The upper is made from nubuck and textile inserts, while a functional rubber outsole provides maximum traction.
The silhouette features branded adidas Originals branding on the heel, OAMC wordmark and model name. The Type O-5 is available in two shades: natural white and dark night.
The launch of the collaboration is accompanied by an impressive advertising campaign created by photographer Sam Rock. It is intended to show the functionality, lightness and manufacturability of new silhouettes, to emphasize the dichotomy between synthetic details and natural materials.
The sneakers will go on sale on August 7 at adidas.ru.
