The Tossu model from Spanish footwear brand Camper has been reimagined in collaboration with Daniel Bailey, founder of the innovative platform Conceptkicks, which showcases the latest developments in the footwear industry.
The project celebrates the union of creativity and technology, and demonstrates the creation of a pair of sneakers using the 3D BONDING process, which seamlessly bonds a molded rubber sole with a 3D knitted sock made from recycled polyester. No glue is required to create this model, it is a zero-waste production, and thus Tossu is a product of innovative technologies that support the concept of sustainable production.
“As a studio that places great emphasis on the relationship between method and aesthetics, where design is a direct reflection of the manufacturing process, it was a natural fit for us to collaborate with CamperLab,” comments Bailey. “Together, we could tell the story of their products through our platform, showcasing the craftsmanship and ingenuity behind their creations.”
The new CamperLab by Concept (K) Stone Grey Tossu sneakers are priced at $360 and are available at conceptkicks.com, camper.com and select multi-brand retailers beginning December 12.
