Furla Group revenue grew 10,6% in the first half of 2018

The turnover of the Italian brand of shoes and accessories Furla for the first six months of 2018 reached 252 million euros, exceeding 10,6% of the result for the same period in 2017. The brand continues to increase its presence in different countries of the world.

In the Russian market, Furla revenue also showed growth, having increased in the first half of 2018 by 8,1% (at a constant exchange rate) compared with revenue for the same period a year earlier. In Russia, the electronic sales of the brand were particularly active, their growth was 80,3%. Furla sells its products in Russia through its own online store and affiliate multi-brand online platforms. It also owns 14 monobrand boutiques in Russia in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Rostov-on-Don, Yekaterinburg and Sochi.

In total, Furla branded retail has 471 stores, the brand is present in 100 countries. Brand products are presented in more than 1200 multi-brand stores and department stores.

Over the past few months, the Furla Group has taken full control over the distribution of its products in China, Hong Kong, and Macau. “For us, 2018 represents a year of consolidation and additional investment in the field of logistics so that our collections are always available to customers,” comments Alberto Camerlengo, Executive Director of Furla Group, commenting on the results.

The brand's new capsule collection, presented at Fashion Week, is showing the trend of using a variety of innovative materials, for example, fabrics with a metallic effect. Also in trend today is the presence of ubiquitous sneakers in the collection of the popular accessories brand. Featuring a futuristic foam sole and three-tone stretch upper, the sneaker is a natural addition to Furla's new nylon and laminated leather bags with original stitching and chunky chain detailing.
