The Detsky Mir group of companies has summed up the results of its operations for the nine months of this year. According to the presented report, the volume of consolidated unaudited revenue of the Group increased by 36% to 54,2 billion rubles. compared to 40,0 billion rubles. for 9 months of 2015 year; comparable sales (like-for-like) of the Detsky Mir chain of stores increased by 12,7%[1] (an increase in the number of checks at 4,2% and an increase in the size of the average check at 8,2%).

The number of the Group's stores increased to 465 with a total sales area of ​​535 thousand sq. M. m. For 9 months of 2016, 40 new stores of the Detsky Mir chain and 1 ELC store were opened.

“Over the 9 months of the 2016 year, we managed to achieve a significant revenue growth rate of 36%. The key driver of revenue growth is still the double-digit rate of growth of comparable sales (like-for-like) - 12,7%, obtained due to the growth in the size of the average check by 8,2% and the number of transactions (number of checks) by 4,2%, - commented the general director of GK "Children's World" Vladimir Chirakhov.

According to the head of the Group, a significant increase in financial indicators continues to demonstrate the online trading segment. According to the results of the 9 months of the 2016 year, the revenue of this segment increased by more than two and a half times compared to the same period last year. One of the main drivers of the development of online commerce is the successful integration of online and offline platforms, as well as the wide presence of Detsky Mir stores in all key regions of the country, which allows customers to provide prompt delivery.

The group of companies continues to actively develop the distribution network. For 9 months of 2016, 40 Detsky Mir stores and 1 ELC store were opened, of which 21 are in the Moscow region and 2 stores are in Kazakhstan. At the end of September 2015, Detsky Mir is represented in 157 cities of Russia and 5 cities of Kazakhstan. In total, by the end of 2016, at least 80 supermarkets will be opened in dozens of cities across the country, including at least 5 stores in Kazakhstan.

The sales geography of a new product line for expectant mothers has grown almost six times. At the end of September, more than 200 super- and hypermarkets are offering customers about 90 names of new products, most of them produced in Russia. Products are represented by Just Mom Ulla trademarks (Detsky Mir own brand), FEST and SUCCESS. Clothes for expectant mothers are presented in the online store. www.detmir.ru.

The Detsky Mir Group of Companies is the largest children's goods retailer in Russia. The group unites the national retail chain Detsky Mir, the ELC chain of stores and the Detsky Mir and ELC online stores.
