Lamoda Group revenue in 2018 year increased by 20%

The Lamoda Group, part of the Global Fashion Group, has published financial results for the 2018 year. According to the results of the year, the company's revenue grew by 7% and reached € 376 million. Profitability increased by 1,3 pp, writes newretai.ru

The number of people who made purchases on Lamoda sites in Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Belarus in 2018 increased by 7%, reaching 2,7 million.

The cost of goods sold by the Lamoda Group (NMV) increased by 13,9% compared to the 2017 year and, including VAT and revenue from paid delivery, amounted to € 467 million.

Currently, the Lamoda Group provides B2B services to 20 companies. In 2018, the volume of orders shipped to the B2B category of customers doubled compared to the 2017 year and reached 700 000. At the same time, more than 1,3 million partnership orders were processed through Pick-Up.ru, which the Lamoda Group acquired in December 2017 of the year.

In 2018, the group increased the number of its own points of delivery of orders four times - up to 185. Taking into account partner points, the number of points where a person can pick up their purchase by placing an order on the Lamoda site exceeded 15000.

Lamoda Group was founded in 2011, the business started with the launch of an online store of fashionable clothes, shoes and accessories. Currently, the company has its own logistics structure LM Express, which delivers goods to 150 cities in Russia. The retail platform provides an opportunity for brands to connect to their services on the basis of a marketplace.
