Vivienne Westwood and LuisaViaRoma capsule collection released
British luxury brand Vivienne Westwood continues to exploit its archives and, together with the Italian online concept store LuisaViaRoma, launches a capsule collection based on the signature motifs, objects and silhouettes of the British brand.
The central items of the collection were corsets and platform shoes in a bright check. In particular, the collection includes a new pair of Westwood's Elevated Ghillie platform shoes, which made its sensational debut at the Vivienne Westwood show in the fall of 1993, dedicated to Naomi Campbell, who literally fell from her high heels.
A new iteration of the iconic $1310 model is crafted in red, green, and lilac 'Circus' plaid. The silhouette features a chunky sole, a raised, rounded toe, and 5,9-inch heels. Silk lilac laces add romance to the look, tying at the front and then wrapping around the ankles.

The padded top-handle mini bag - originally debuted in Westwood's spring 1989 collection - features the same red, green and lilac "Circus" checkered print and is marked with Westwood's balloon logo.
