Vans and Vivienne Westwood Collaboration Released

Vans “added pepper” to the design of his sneakers, releasing the collection in collaboration with the punk fashion brand Vivienne Westwood. For the Vivienne Westwood brand itself, this is the second collaboration with the Sneakers brand; we wrote about the first one with Asics earlier.

Now Vans sneakers boast Vivienne Westwood's unique branding and design, which used archival prints of the famous British fashion brand. The Vans x Vivienne Westwood Anglomania collection includes Vans models such as the Sk8-Hi, Sk8-Hi Platform, checkerboard slip-ons, #53, Old Skool and Authentic.

Perhaps the most striking model of the collection was Sk8-Hi Platform sneakers, the basis for the design of which were Westwood Pirate Boots from the legendary Pirate Collection, which was first shown in the 1981 year. Sneakers are covered with a gold belt with a large buckle and the logo of Vivienne Westwood.

The Authentic model is presented with a print from the archive of the British brand in the form of a picture with orbits and lightnings.

Vans checkerboard checkerboard slip-ons are complemented by the “Destroy” lettering that appeared in Vivienne Westwood's history in 1977.

The line will go on sale on September 20 and will be available at selected Vans and Vivienne Westwood stores around the world.
