Wales Bonner has released its own sneaker model based on its collaborations with Adidas.
The Wales Bonner collection has added the Paris Trainer sneaker, which essentially continues British fashion designer Grace Wales Bonner's collaboration with Adidas. However, the sneakers, whose silhouette and design are directly reminiscent of hits from the six-year Wales Bonner x Adidas collaboration, created without the participation of the German sports brand.
The Paris Trainer is a standalone model in the new Wales Bonner collection. It features a low-profile silhouette, crocodile-effect leather details on the tongue, and signature stitching that holds everything together.
Even small details show Adidas influence, such as the round suede overlays on the medial side, reminiscent of the Wales Bonner Adidas Japan model, and the bowling shoe-inspired toe cap, a nod to the Wales Bonner x Y-3 model.
The Paris Trainer is crafted from premium calfleather leather, made in Italy, and comes at a price point of $665 per pair.
