Since the beginning of 2021, the share of orders for goods on the westfalika.ru marketplace through a mobile application has tripled, - noted in a press release from the OR Group (formerly Obuv Rossii Group of Companies), which owns the marketplace. Currently, the share of online orders through the westfalika.ru mobile application is 11% of the total number of orders on the marketplace.
The company released an updated version of its Westfalika mobile app in the fall of 2020. This application includes the basic functionality of an online store - viewing the assortment of goods using filters, the ability to place an order, arrange and track delivery, the InstaShop tool (the ability to order goods presented in the Westfalika Instagram account through a mobile application).
It is noted that the Westfalika marketplace demonstrates high growth dynamics: in the first half of 2021, its revenue increased 2,6 times and amounted to RUB 738 million, the share of online sales in the revenue of the Westfalika trading platform reached 24,5%. During the existence of the marketplace, more than 4 million products have been sold. The range of the site includes more than 100 thousand SKUs. At the same time, the sales leaders are goods in such categories as footwear and clothing, household goods, hosiery and sports equipment.
