Wildberries online store is planning to increase its network of points of delivery of orders to 7 thousand points by the end of the year. Now it has 5 thousand. According to the company, the popularity of courier delivery from an online store is falling, and demand for delivery of orders to specialized points of delivery is growing.
This year Wildberries have already opened 2100 pick-up points. They are equipped with fitting rooms, and allow the buyer, by ordering in the online store, for example, several models and sizes of shoes, to choose a suitable pair for themselves.
“We are actively developing our own network of pick-up points, as this delivery method is very convenient for our customers. In August 2019, more than 90% of customers received their orders at Wildberries pick-up points, in 2018 this figure was 80%, and in 2017 - 60%. Points of issue of orders are equipped with fitting booths with mirrors, in which it is comfortable to try on clothes and shoes, to choose purchases, ”comments the Wildberries press service.
As of August 20, 2019, the network of Wildberries outlets includes about 4600 outlets in Russia, 250 in Belarus, 130 in Kazakhstan, 20 in Armenia and 10 in Kyrgyzstan.
In accordance with the company's plans, by the end of the year at least 2000 points of delivery in 5 countries will open. Thus, the total number of points will reach at least 7000.
The Wildberries online store has about 2,6 million goods from Russian and international brands - from children's goods, clothes, shoes to electronics and household appliances.
