On June 5, the laying of the first stone of the new Wildberries warehouse complex in the Vladimir region took place, in the presence of the regional governor Alexander Avdeev and the CEO and founder of Wildberries Tatyana Bakalchuk.
The logistics center will be built in the Sobinsky district of the Vladimir region. After completion of construction, its area will be more than 170 square meters. m, it will become one of the largest regional Wildberries facilities. In accordance with the company's plans, the total investment in construction will amount to 000 billion rubles.
Thanks to the launch of a new distribution center, about 7500 new jobs in various professional fields will be opened for residents of the Vladimir region.
“Vladimir region is a dynamically developing region of the country. There are many talented entrepreneurs here with whom we cooperate and help sell their products throughout the country through Wildberries. If in 2022 local entrepreneurs sold goods worth 10 billion rubles through us, then in January-April 2023 - already by 4,7 billion rubles, showing an increase of 105%. Thanks to the emergence of a large center, now the producers of the Vladimir region will be able to further expand their range and increase sales,” said Tatyana Bakalchuk.
After the opening of the center, the speed of delivery of orders in the region for buyers of the entire central region of the country will also increase.
During the calendar year, since April 2022, almost 550 new entrepreneurs from the Vladimir region have launched sales of their goods on Wildberries, and their total number has exceeded 2.
